Here are a few that have caught my eye.
Jolie Skin Co
Jolie Skin Co disrupted the beauty industry with their shower filter subscription model. Now, the wellness brand has launched a new collection that channels the age-old practice of Forest Bathing. With colour palettes like Birch, Pine, and Spruce—each inspired by medicinal trees—the collection is a nod to natural healing and rejuvenation. Their aesthetic is beautifully minimalist and satisfies the demand for sleek and unadorned shower hardware. Plus, Jolie Skin Co even supplies free water reports on their website to keep the community informed.
Uppgradera Collection 3
IKEA hacks are nothing new, but the Uppgradera Collection 3 is a must-see. A collaboration between Adam Miklosi and Enable 3D, this collection offers 3D-printed ‘hack’ products designed to elevate your IKEA essentials. Focused on enhancing user experience, these add-ons come in an eye-catching vibrant green, making a meander through an IKEA curated maze more appealing!
Birdie
Birdie is a brand new take on air quality monitors that boasts unique character and functionality. Created by Andreas Kofoed Sørensen and Hans Høite Augustenborg, the product uses the bird’s angle to signify air quality levels—a nod to the “canary in a coal mine” metaphor. When Birdie is upside down, you know it’s time to crack a window. I love projects that take a novel approach to information communication, and this is a great example of how analog methods can outshine digital displays with a dose of creative thinking.
One & Done Toothbrush
PEZ dispensers and dental care – an unlikely pairing, but one that actually works exceptionally well. Pelin Özbalcı has designed a toothbrush which stores and dispenses toothpaste tablets, combining an intriguing narrative with characterful creative execution and vibrant CMF. I really appreciate the thoughtful functionality in this product; from the central dispense concept to changeable heads and storage.
